NARUC - Transmission Planning 101



Monthly meeting of the NARUC Electricity Committee providing primer on transmission. During this session, the panelists describe the nation`s transmission system, the entities that own and operate transmission, and the role of states and FERC in regulating transmission, in particular the regulator`s role in the transmission arena as prescribed in FERC Order 1000. Panelists are Jay Caspary of Grid Strategies LLC, Daniel Hall, American Clean Power Association (ACP) Central Region Senior Director, Electricity & Transmission, and Steve Gaw, ACP consultant on transmission and RTOs.
