Mar 1, 2024 - Plant Vogtle Unit 4 successfully generates electricity Georgia Power announced today that the generator at the Vogtle Unit 4 nuclear expansion project near Waynesboro, Ga. has generated electricity for the first time, and the unit has successfully synchronized and connected to the electric grid.
