Dec 29, 2023 - Viking Link - The world`s longest subsea and land interconnector is now LIVE After 10 years of international collaboration with Energinet, and 5 years of construction, the world`s longest subsea and land interconnector between the UK and Denmark is switched on. World`s longest: The electricity link stretches a record-breaking 765km (475 miles) between Bicker Fen in Lincolnshire with Revsing substation in southern Jutland, Denmark.
