Sep 11, 2023 - Behind the scenes site tour of Hinkley Point C The Hinkley Point C site is progressing at pace, with teams busy working towards the next major engineering feat – the lifting of the 245-tonne steel dome on top of the first reactor building. The tour, featuring Nuclear Island Area Director Simon Parsons, shows final preparations being made to the dome, which will make Unit 1 weather proof.
