Many argue we can`t get there without nuclear power. Humanity`s seemingly insatiable appetite for more energy is only expected to increase, as more electric vehicles hit the roads and emerging technologies require more power. Meanwhile, wind farms and solar fields are not being built fast enough to offset lost megawatts from shuttered coal plants.
