Oct 31, 2022 - One of the world`s largest off-grid PV-battery hybrid system 36 MWp PV-plant and 15.4 MWh battery storage combined with 64 MW HFO/diesel capacity at Fekola Gold Mine in #Mali. BayWa r.e. has put its expertise in conceptualizing and implementing this project. By combining #solar and battery storage into this isolated #grid, the HFO and diesel generators can largely be shut down during the day and around 39,000 tonnes of CO2 emission reduction can be achieved every year.
