Nov 30, 2025 - Chinese-built geothermal power plant elevates Kenya`s energy sector The Sosian Menengai Geothermal Power project on the floor of the Great Rift Valley is at the forefront of Kenya`s drive to deliver clean, reliable, and affordable energy to all its citizens. The Chinese-built plant is the first independent power producer to generate electricity in Kenya under a public-private partnership.
