A 100% autonomous robot to ensure the automatic inspection of “conversion stations” within the electrical interconnections linking France to its European neighbors? It is today a reality, thanks to the robot developed by the English start-up Ross Robotics and tested by our teams in Baixas, on the electricity link between France and Spain. The conversion station, an essential keystone for the proper functioning of an interconnection, is a space that is not accessible when in service: therefore and for safety reasons, this space cannot be directly inspected by humans . Hence the welcome help of this autonomous robot.
