Australia is a world leader in the use of rooftop solar, with more than 4.2 million solar systems installed on homes and businesses nationwide.
But some researchers say this renewable energy could be even greener, with the use of bio-solar technology which is being trialled in a brand new suburb, near the new airport in Western Sydney.
