Oct 21, 2020 - TenneT: Laying of direct current underground cables (HVDC)

When building and laying underground power cables, the transmission system operator TenneT tries to minimize the impact on people, agriculture, the environment and nature as much as possible. The strict soil and nature conservation regulations are observed. This film shows the laying of direct current cables by TenneT. TenneT is one of the largest investors in the energy turnaround and the owner of many new underground cable lines.
