Amager Bakke, also known as CopenHill, is not only the world`s cleanest waste-to-energy power plant but also home to a man-made mountain offering the best views of Copenhagen. It features its own ski slope, the world`s tallest climbing wall, and challenging hiking trails. The building, designed by Bjarke Ingels Group, converts 440,000 tons of waste annually into enough clean energy to provide electricity and district heating for 150,000 homes.
