Jan 31, 2024 - Kerepes Alállomás timelapse The 220 kilovolt expansion of the Kerepes substation has begun. The HUF 16.4 billion development of MAVIR ZRt. until 2023 is of decisive importance from the point of view of the security of supply in the capital region. As part of the development, the 220 kilovolt connection of the current 400/132 kilovolt substation to the transmission network must be created. This can be solved by splitting the Zugló-Ócsa 220-kilovolt transmission line and turning it into the Kerepes substation, as well as by constructing the Kerepes-Zugló, also a 220-kilovolt, two-system connection. As part of the investment, it will also be necessary to develop a new, modern 220 kilovolt pole family. At the substations of MAVIR ZRt., the new 400/220 kilovolt switchgear and the transformer will be installed with a two-meter level difference, with a rarely used off-road step solution. After the consolidation of the soil filling, the actual construction works can start in the first quarter of 2022. |
