Two of Australia`s biggest energy generators and retailers, Origin and AGL, have posted strong half-year profit results, with both companies planning to further invest in the transition to renewables. But former ACCC chair, Allan Fels says the public should be asking why more isn`t being done to ensure consumers pay less for electricity and gas.
